Selections Weekend - Day Two

Join us on Saturday, November 24 and Sunday, November 25 to learn more about our 2018-19 programmes and to complete the application and interview process.

Before Selections Weekend, please make sure you’ve completed the following:

1. Register for Selections Weekend! This will only take a few moments to complete but will help keep the check-in moving quickly at Selections Weekend.
2. Make sure your CISV Toronto Membership is up to date. We can't accept your application until you have a membership in good standing.
3. Complete your program application. You must bring a completed copy with you to Selections day.
4. Pack a lunch! Since kids will be staying over lunch, they should bring a packed lunch and drinks on both days of selections weekend.

Day One: Saturday, November 24, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Youth: Youth must attend the full session on day one. Kids will join the JB and leadership committee for an afternoon of fun and classic CISV activities. For certain programs, like Step Up, youth will be pulled out of the activities to complete a short interview.

Adults: Adults must attend the full session on day one, which includes an overview of CISV programmes and which programmes and locations we have received invitations to participate in. We will walk through the application process, programme fees, and volunteer requirements. Committing to volunteer with CISV Toronto is a mandatory requirement for all traveling families. During this session, you will be required to sign up for your volunteer commitments for the 2018-19 CISV Toronto year. At the end of the session, program coordinators will be available for Q+A and you will sign up for an interview time on Sunday.

Day Two: Sunday, November 25, 11:30 am to 4:30 pm

Youth: Youth must attend the full session on day two. Youth will join the JB and leadership committee for an afternoon of fun and classic CISV activities. For certain programs, like Step Up, kids will be pulled out of the activities to complete a short interview.

Adults: Adults only need to attend their interview session on day two. During your interview, you will finalize all of the necessary paperwork and program fees. Please come prepared with your program application and cheque book. Once your interview is complete, you can leave and return to pick up your child at the end of the days.
