About The Event
Our JB are planning a Mosaic project to continue our efforts to help individuals who have been marginalized by poverty and hardship in Toronto. We'll be partnering with Ve’ahavta, a Jewish humanitarian organization involved in providing street outreach, food, and essential supplies for individuals who are homeless.
We'll spend the afternoon cooking food together and learning about homelessness in Toronto. At the end of the day, the food will be picked up by Ve’ahavta’s homelessness outreach van and will be delivered to people living on the streets of Toronto.
Being part of a Mosaic project is a real-life learning experience that will have a lasting impact and, if you’re new to CISV, it’s a great way to get involved!
